Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making a huge difference in people’s lives, including his own. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least take it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately reject it, but at least other people would hear that the project had been brought to Harrison Ford, generating interest from other notable actors. In the end, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince her, but he was elated nonetheless.

From the reviews I’m reading here, it seems like people either really like this show or really dislike it, and it seems like it might depend on how reviewers react to Jason Segal. I loved his movies and thought he was perfect for the role – and adding Harrison Ford takes the show to an even higher level. The writing is great, the story is fresh, and the characters are great.

I highly recommend!

The relationships are complex and emotional, and the very real human challenges are well-crafted. It can be laugh out loud funny and bring you to tears the next minute. I was really disappointed after the second episode when I realized I would have to wait more.
